This presentation will explain how disasters are managed in the “Post Katrina” environment and what that means to Professional Facilities Mangers. The most significant risks to Kansas City area will be discussed.

 

 

Presenters will be senior subject matter experts from across the FEMA organization.

Location: 
FEMA is located at 9221 Ward Parkway across the street from Rockhurst High School stadium.
The only markings on the exterior of the building are for the Kansas City Hospice and the address number.

Parking: 
IFMA Guests may park in in the spaces labeled "ABC" or "Guest" . If all the parking is full on the Ward Parkway lot they may park anywhere on the upper level but must enter through the front door on Ward Parkway and bring photo ID for access
